Pub & (South London's Biggest) Beer Garden in Brixton

The Duke of Edinburgh is a lively pub in Brixton, South London built in the 1930’s boasting the biggest pub garden in south London. Whilst we’re a Brixton pub you’ll find us a short walk from Brixton Station and not too much further from Clapham North, and all are welcome, including your fluffy friends as we’re completely dog friendly!

We’re a short walk away from the o2 Brixton Academy making us the perfect spot for a pre-gig bite or post-gig pint! You can also drop your bags with us, just ask at the bar and we’ll keep your stuff safe whilst you go watch your favourites perform.

If that wasn’t enough we’re showing the best in live sport, with our bloody-big jumbo screen in the garden and seven ‘normal’ sized screens – meaning you’ll always have a great view from wherever you’re sat.

Our kitchen residents, Jerk Valley of London, joined us in January 2025 and with them have brought their signature Jerk chicken and Caribbean flavours. Come by on Sundays during the winter months and fight off those lingering hangovers with a Sunday Roast.
